Hey Annette! I haven't seen you around the Craig LJ community for a while, so when I saw your post there I smiled. :]

I went to the Chicago book signing too! And I'm sorry, you were probably seeing my butt, because I (along with Jennifer, Sierra, and Beth, who are also from the LJ community) was right in front of you in the movie ropes. We wanted to say hello, but personally I was just concentrating on not fainting or screaming or other extreme-excitement-induced embarassing moments, haha.

I'm glad you had an awesome time!
(and HE JUMPED OVER THE TABLE FOR YOU!?!?!?! That is so awesome!)

I really enjoyed reading your post about this, and I'm glad you had such a special experience. It's so nice to know that Craig has such a good heart and is every bit the gentleman he seems to be. I would've loved to have been able to go to a signing myself but it's wonderful just to read accounts like this. :)

I am so thrilled for you!!! Someone I hold in extremely high esteem once made a beautiful, personal remark to me, and I swear six years later that comment can lift my heart in an instant. I'm glad you are keeping what he said to you a secret - it's something to cherish and relive over and over again.
I live in Vancouver, and I suppose his signing tour is limited to US cities because, well, his book is about being an American (among other things), so while I won't get the chance to meet him and have my copy signed, I have really enjoyed reading about your adventure and hope it's not too long before you get to see him again.

Best wishes, from a fellow admirer of the wonderful Mr. Ferguson!

Susan
