[Boy howdy, the past week or so has been full of surprises for our little draconic spawnchild here. First she actually survived a moonfall apocalypse, and then her Hero costume showed up in the shops, and then Wild Tiger dropped into Luceti. She's not sure which one she's surprised most by.]

[ okay it's probably not all that weird that she'd be here, if he was here. ]

Yes, I'm fine, thank you. I'm in .. what seems to be a forest, but I can see buildings from here. And you?

[ since he's just running on the idea that, you know, they've all just been dumped here together and all. ]

[Phew, so he's not that far outside of town, then. Pao-lin's been in the surrounding forests before, but she never goes very far.]

I'm at the tea shop right now. Do you see a fountain from where you are?

All right, well, there's a fountain in the main plaza of this town. I'll wait for you there, since it'll be easier to explain all of this in person. Just tell me if you're having a hard time finding it, okay? Oh, and Wild Tiger's here too, he just got here like yesterday.

[Whenever Barnaby makes his way to the plaza, he'll find Pao-lin in her trademark yellow tracksuit sitting on the edge of the fountain, reading a book.]

[ it doesn't take all that long to get there, considering he wasn't too far to begin with, and the layout of this town doesn't seem exactly complicated. he's got his jacket over his arm and he's still flipping through the journal when he steps out into the plaza.

aaaand she's not entirely difficult to spot in that yellow suit. barnaby shuts the journal as he approaches, and rests a hand on his hip. ]

[Pao-lin glances up at Barnaby's approach. She shuts her book and stands up, smiling at him. Good, he's at least clothed. That means they can focus on other things.]

It's no problem! I wasn't doing anything too important today. And...it's good to see other people from Sternbild here.

[ barnaby looks dubious. something just isn't sitting right, and now that they're face to face he can ask his questions freely. ]

Time is really weird here in Luceti. The Malnosso -- the people who kidnapped us -- can take people from any point in their world's time. So...I'm actually from about a year later, from your point of view.

[She'd always known it was a weird thing, but actually being confronted with it herself, with people that she knows, is another thing entirely.]
