We had my family Thanksgiving dinner last night. It was great....I just forget how loud my family is until they all get in one place. My cats hid downstairs because of the noise and there was a certain point that I wanted to join them. But, all in all it was a very enjoyable evening

I know how you feel...wouldn't it be great if we could bottle that energy and stick it in the freezer like your turkey stock, for the times it's needed/wanted??

Being an aunt is great...we're poised to have our 16 y/o nephew with us the Friday after Thanksgiving. He's horse-crazy (has been since he was 3) and cannot WAIT to come trail riding on Friday. Something tells me that the roads between my sister's house near Portland and my farm will be WELL traveled this summer by a 16 year-old!

With him, I'm more worried about how we're going to FEED him than how much energy it'll take to keep up with him.
