The weather outside really makes me think I need to go camping. Instead I think I will alleviate my desire for difficult environments with an experimental set of sounds at Davey's tonight. I will be playing tunes by the likes of Current 93, Nurse With Wound and Psychic TV with DJ Big Brother at Davey's tonight. See you there.

This year is my 20 year class reunion. I am still very much undecided about going. Since most of the people I would like to see are younger/older than me or went to another school it is not as compelling. But today I had a mini-reunion.

Sometimes I am amazed by the movies that never made it to DVD. Like a childhood favorite of mine The Incredible Shrinking Woman. With all it paranoia involving Corporate America and chemicals. Somehow it ended up playing on late night HBO. Maybe I will have to pick up the VHS tape.

The weather is so nice. Went for a walk with the family around the Plaza. I thought it would be some cheap entertainment. But alas, the Better Cheddar was still open. Now I got some Triple Cream Cambozola, some Italian Truffle Cheese, Goose Pate and some awesome chocolates. MMMmmmmm. I just have to try and not eat it all in one night. The truffle ( Read more... )
