Isn't that annoying? (and frustrating!) I drink alcohol, but can definitely see why others abstain (for whichever reason it is for them). Not drinking alcohol isn't that weird. Being vegetarian is almost weirder than not drinking alcohol. (Excess of meat-eating isn't going to make you crash your car!)
I'm glad that you don't drink alcohol. :) While writing all this stuff, I feel like I should probably decrease my intake. I'm trying to be healthy and being hungover is certainly not.

Houston recently enacted a ban on smoking in bars and venues (to supplement the ban on smoking in restaurants) and I actually felt a little guilty for being excited about the ban. Why should I have to suffer allergies, headaches, and second-hand smoke when I've chosen not to smoke in the first place? I love that I no longer reek of smoke after coming home from a bar. I really shouldn't feel weird for being the non-smoker in social situations, but I do sometimes.

And speaking of vegetarianism, why is it so weird for someone to choose to not eat

haha yes!
I don't see how vegetarianism is weird. It's smart! If my mom wasn't such an awesome cook...oh wait, but she makes a lot of veggie only dishes that are just as awesome.

it's really fun going to bars here, not drinking and there isn't any smoking?
It was funny that night because all my coworkers were at this bar, and all of them brought food from outside! since we came straight from work. I ate my friend's yodel, and the same guy who later became very intrigued that I didn't drink was like
"you're not drinking?"
my response was:
"No, I had a Yodel"
"YOu have to YODEL??? THere's so much I don't know about you!!"

Today I saw a guy on a unicycle.
hahaha

I agree 100 percent with you on the smoking and the drinking. The most alcohol I've had was one glass of red wine mixed with sprite while I was in Italy. THAT IS IT. And that is all I ever want to have. I just do not see the point ( ... )

omg I totally have to reply to you!!!
sorry!

I drink tons of coffee. Everyone notices, but I don't feel sick if I don't have it. I just really like the taste. My family never drank as much coffee until I started buying it. At the same time, if someone doesn't drink coffee, I wouldn't be like "THAT'S ABSURD!" you know?
Tea is good for you though. Especially one large cup a day.

i can see how someone would be shocked at something like that (the not drinking thing) if it's an integral part of their life and can't see how it isn't for others.
for example, my roomate doesn't have a drivers' license. i cannot imagine not having one. when i had mine suspended cos i was a speed demon, i never got used to not having my car. having to depend on people to transport me, or not being able to go to the grocery store cos it wasn't within walking distance drove me insane.
of course, some people grow up in cities and can walk and use public transportation to get where they need to be. even though i know that, it still shocks me if someone doesn't have a driver's license.

you ever meet someone who doesn't like chocolate?
that's a mind blower.

did your new phone come with a new number?

I guess it could be shocking, but I was kind of annoyed to be prodded at like that. Like, why MUST it come from a religion or something? WHy can't it be my choice? Too bad the kid in question was a hottie or else I would've been really irritated.

No new number! same ol' minha

I don't have a driver's license!

It is because I terrify myself on the road!
