Ahaha! I do appreciate when parents have zero idea what to say/do with kids who come out with stuff like that. :)

And oof, YES to that fic and those lines from it! My favourite bit, too. :)

LOL, with this one, I couldn't speak and I kept alternately saying "diddley-doh" in my head and giggling and thinking what a fail moment this was as a parent. I still don't know what I should have said.

What I think I love most about that moment in the fic is how smooth they are here and then how they become a bit bumbling the next moment (and then smoking hot again, of course). I have to leave a comment...

:)

I...

...don't know what a 'diddley-doh' is, either.

*contrives to look innocent*

I can't begin to imagine.

I want to know the conversation that the friend had with his mother!

Oh, man, I snickered when I read that. Your kid comes out with some precious stuff. I love how it was followed up with a request for the gummi bear song.

LOL. His is a bit of a lunatic. Right now he is refusing to go to sleep because we are going on a plane tomorrow and he is planning to stay up all night. He is being very good natured about it right now, but it will turn ugly soon. Yes, the gummi bear song? Insane little weird things on speed.

I totally relate. It's been a battle finding a safe place to keep things in this house, let me tell you.

LOL, well thankfully this information did not come from any mishaps around here. I am very intersted to know where his friend learned the word, or didn't. :)

He leaves me speechless -- or chortling into my tea -- on a regular basis.

Oh, I'm glad you enjoyed! Wonderful, yes?
