Hey All

I haven't been feeling at place inside my body lately...and it seems it's starting to show. I've been told that I'm acting odd, distant, tense, and even aggressive at times. And, they're right...I have been.

I've been trying different things to try and calm myself down and put me at peace once more but nothing seems to work very well.

I distract myself. Sometimes with reading, art stuffs, singing and playing my guitar. Other times just being out with my friends and yucking it up helps tons. Laughter is a great form of medicine.
And when I've time to allow that irriation or anger to pass I sort through why I felt that way in the first place and do my best to deal with it.
Sorry to hear you've been feeling that way hun. It really does suck.

smoke pot :/
but i totally agree with the distraction plan. movies help. sometimes i need a fair amount of alone/decompression time before i feel ready to integrate myself back into society. a good bitch fest just to get it all out?

I'ma have to say that I do a fair bit of introvert-time. Generally it helps to tell people around me that something's up and they're just going to have to be okay with me being quieter when I'm around, or that I'm just not going to be around, but that it isn't that I'm mad at them. It generally ends with a lot of backyard parties and me being the quiet one in the conversation, but it lets me sit back and deal with my shit, whatever it happens to be.
The other thing you've gotta be able to do is look in the mirror and see something that's beautiful inside of you and start to work on being proud of that. Once you're tying what you think you are in with what you are and what you want to be, things start to flow downhill.

I walk twice a day at least, meditate, avoid harmful foods, read some of the Baghavad Gita, during summer work with plants and go for a swim, do stuff alone, think about the Universe, and most importantly I don't expect to get any quick results from anything. Ever.
