The Top 25 Songs on My iPod: MAY 2010
It's that time again!! Time to make a new top 25 list! =D
Please don't ask me for the full albums, if you look hard enough on the internet you can find them. But it'd be best if you actually bought them instead. I like to buy my most of my Japanese CDs from cdjapan.
Since I have a headache I'm not really going to make comments this time. Most of these tracks were in the April's Top 25 so you can read the comments there.

This is a piano version of the Alice's Theme from the sequel to Shadow Hearts... Shadow Hearts II (or Shadow Hearts: Covenant.) This was used during the one of the saddest scenes in the game. It was beautiful, touching and just heartbreaking... ;_; I can't decide which I like better, the original version or this piano version... both are beautiful.

This is my favorite song from Cowboy Bebop. I don't normally pay much attention to lyrics in songs but this one pretty much sums up how I feel about an old old friend of mine. I wish she'd call me. My phone number hasn't changed in years it's still the same, she knows it. I'd call her, but I don't know what her number currently is and I'm not sure how to find it... I miss her terribly. :'(

Hey! Here's a new track! Sound familiar? You may have heard it used in the early trailers for the movie. I'm too lazy to actually check the trailers to see if they are exactly the same but they do sound very similar. Can someone confirm?
"Puzzles" actually sounds really really nice played by a real live orchestra. Ominous and mysterious.And then Professor Layton's kickass theme kicks in. He's just so badass and awesome! I love the piano portion in this. I would've loved to see this actually being played. I can't even imagine how the person's hands must've been moving! D:
For those who don't know, Press Start is a video game music concert that has been held each year since 2006. I would love to go to a vgm concert one day...

Why it's Professor Layton's Theme AGAIN!!! This time from the movie when he's obviously making a seriously awesome epic escape. I guessing it's the part with the flying machine thing. enerjak , confirm this for me, since YOU'VE seen the movie TWICE!!!!! TT^TT I only have the manga and film comics. Saddly, music doesn't play when I open the books.
Although this is orchestrated, it's not the same as the version found on the OST to the Curious Village. It has a much quicker pace and sounds more urgent.

Imagine going back to your elementary school or some other place you haven't visited in a decade or longer and finding that it's now a pile of rubble or a completely different building and all the trees that used to be in the back have been chopped down and is now a parking lot. That's how this feels. Future London is depressingly polluted, run-down and different from the London Layton and Luke are familiar with. I think this captures the feel perfectly.

Of course Layton's Theme is sill at the top of the list. He's the fucking KING of my ipod! XD
Geez... Nearly the entire list is Professor Layton this month!! ALL of the top 10 are PL! And three versions of Professor Layton's Theme appear on the list!! He's just that EPIC!!
