Oh, Kakashi what will I do with you....
Stop trying to look all innocent and cute!! You know what you did!!
Kakashi loves to nibble things. My face... my arm... my computer.... random bits of thread... uncooked spaghetti... (wait! I like that one too!)
But what she likes best, is paper. Oh yes, paper. You can't leave her and a piece of paper together for very long. Her beak is not only for eating and preening but also for shredding paper!!
Back when I first got her, she was very well behaved so I frequently let her out of her cage. She would mostly just sit on top of it so I'd let her stay there even when I'd go to work. Well, one day when I got back from work I found her sitting on top of one of my books. It was a book I got recently and was one of my prized possessions. You can probably guess where this is leading.... u_u
Yeah.... she shredded it. Well, just part of the dust-jacket, but still! Look at it!! (My icon accurately depicts my reaction to the scene.)

I had to special order it and then wait at least a month for it to arrive. And within a week it ends up like that!
Kakashi was kept in her cage for a week after that. And since then I don't let her out of her cage for long periods of time unless I'm going to be watching her. Oh, I've learned my lesson.
Most recently she attempted to shred one of my Professor Layton books that I had lying on the table but I managed to stop her before she could put more holes in Layton's face. D: I may replace this book at a later time.... (Why couldn't she bite Luke instead!?)
