I really think adding black would make it too heavy looking. The darkest purples are pretty dark. What say you??

Hey! This reminded me, I have the blue that will be on my dress, I was thinking I'd go out to the BeadMine and pick out the ones that I like and that will go and bring them to you and we can work on a design?

Come and see me first. I have TONS of beads already, plus two blues that would go well with what you bought. If you don't see something we can go together. And there is a bead show this weekend (wholesale prices) so if you can get here this week??? MUCH better than going to the Bead Mine.

Heck, even if you want to get together on Sat, look at my stock and then go to the show?

Yeah, the darker pieces are dark enough. It looks like an entirely different necklace now! It looks good to me! Sorry for the late reply. It's been a day.

I'm glad you like it. I'm pleased with how it turned out. ::dances:: I'll close it off and make up the earrings tomorrow. I think the length is right, but if it's a little short, I can add some chain to the clasp. That'll give you some flexibility, too.

And you weren't late. Days is days.

Purple is my favorite color, and amethyst is my birthstone. This is utterly gorgeous. My sister in law actually makes jewelry too. wow. Nice job.
