[facepalms] Well, that explains why some of Hagrid's pine betchers were damaged about ten years ago. That also explains the mysterious breaking of two beaters bats during practice around the same time.

What happened to you Severus? Yes, you've had to dark exterior, but you used to fight for what was right regardless. Has this become your true nature Severus? Did you kill Albus for your own gain? If you did, I hope whoever catches you has mercy on your soul, because a dementor won't, nor will I.

Obviously, being a double agent hasn't given me the opportunity to care. My emotions, at the present time, must still be bottled up until the war is over. So I suppose it would be the later wouldn't it?

Mercy would be nice, but my life has been for the war. It'd almost be better ended at the end. Of course, I'd rather not die, but I don't want to run for the rest of my life.

Mercy?! Severus, you killed people! You were never a victum! You made victums! So where should mercy come into play for you? And yes, certain things have to be kept secret during the war, but bottling up feelings and doing what's right are completely different things!
