i know! they are a squee-inducing bunch of fluff! he's got that funny little underbite, and she has the sweetest puppy eyes ever. they are terribly lovey too, very kissy and cute. they follow me all around the house.

speaking of "play??" i should go roll the ball for them, they've been napping all afternoon.

we are not exactly sure what kind of poodle mix they are, but we do think he is a cockapoo (spoodle). she has more coarse fur, and looks more like a terrier or schnauzer poodle mix. we were looking for poodle mixes, especially cockapoos. they were listed as cockapoos on petfinder, but the people at the adoption agency weren't really sure. but it doesn't really matter, they are sweet and cute and just the right size, and AWESOME. sometimes i still can't believe we got them!

and then they destroy something and shatter my perfect fantasy world. ;) but honestly they are pretty good. they are still only 9 months, after all.

They look like they would make great pillows. Their eyes look like little buttons which only heightens the pillow effect. Also, they look like the type that wouldn't mind acting like the pillow* so it looks like you hit the doggy/pillow jackpot, Kristin. *thumbs up*

*My dog would gnaw off my face if I ever tried.

yes, they do work fairly well as pillows, although you do have to occasionally put up with your pillow licking you. they also work very well as lap warmers and finger cleaners (but then your fingers need to be washed anyway, due to the puppy slime). also, they will gladly shred any random rags or paperboard you have laying around. so you can see, they are not just ornamental, but very useful as well. ;)

yeah, when the boy was growing up, he had a cockapoo with an underbite like that. it's so funny looking! he was panting in his photo on petfinder, so you couldn't see it there. i wonder if less people would have applied for him? i think it makes him look like he's just about to ask a question or something.

yeah, i think we aren't going back to that groomer though. we'll probably get our own dog clippers and do it ourselves. it can't be that much harder than cutting the boy's hair, as long as one of us holds and one of us cuts.

i know! ridiculous! their ears are so soft! and they are so cute when they are acting sorry when they have done something wrong, it almost makes it hard to be mad at them. but then i remember that they just chewed up the souvenir patch i got when i was in australia AND they jumped up on the bed to get it, and it makes me wish they would just be good. they wait to be naughty until we are in another room, you see.
