Oh, I laughed and laughed reading this, because... well. I remember the days when my little ADHD kid could never remember to bring home the stinking list let alone get the cards written out and addressed. I'm so glad we're beyond that.
I don't know if it's an ADHD thing. Well, middle child hasn't been diagnosed with it, anyhow. She just has the attention span of a flea. (She doesn't have any hyperactivity, but she is a daydreamer.) They handed out the lists for every class last monday. She DID remember to bring it back last Friday, so we got the cards filled out over the weekend, but GRRRR... The other kids were done. Youngest and oldest children filled them all out the day I remembered to pick up the stupid cards. Because going through the drugstore on crutches is fun with three kids.

This year it was almost painless for me because my 5th grader did it all by herself except for keeping up with the list.
