Ha, knew it.

According to this not in the least bit frivolous study, 'Those who identified themselves as "dog people" were likelier to score high in the extroversion, agreeableness and conscientiousness columns. "Cat people," on the other hand, ranked higher in both neuroticism and openness, which in the context of the study meant being creative, ( Read more... )

Oh man, no wonder I'm confused. I'm a self-identified 'dog person' but my life is ruled by my beloved cat.

Actually, I did the BBC Personality Test last week and I did score really high on extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness....and neuroticism! :) So there might be something in that!
