I decided to wait with reviewing the last episodes until I have seen the conclusion on Monday. Everything I wrote turned into a rant and I don't have much hope that the next episode will change that significantly. But the promo pics made wibble. Someone needs to hold me next week

I very much admire your restraint - I failed in my own guideline of not writing OPs when furious :) I'm sort of clinging to the hope that they stuck all the grimness in this week's ep to leave the last one in a more emotional place. It's a forlorn hope, but it's what I'm clinging to.

Anyway, I thought making icons was more productive than ranting and here is the result:

Golly, these are all so, SO beautiful!! I'm having a hard time picking favourites. But if I must....I love: 18, 19, 21-24, 36, 42, 43, 46, 47, 52, 54 :)

You should have seen me this morning after I read a new Kring interview. Not so much with the restraint there. I think I scared the other passengers on the train because I was still fuming on my way to work.

Wow, these are amazing! I love what you did with the coloring, especially on the Shadowboxing icons and making the red pop out on those. I'm snagging a bunch of them, and will (of course), credit you when I put them up!

Thank you, I'm happy you like them! I did love coloring the Shadowboxing and Thanksgiving icons because the contrast of blue and red is a pretty color scheme. By comparison the Brother's Keeper icons look pretty boring because of the prevalent earth tones. But the content made up for that. ;)

Ooooh I love this batch. The black & white ones especially (21 &hearts , 22, 13) -- gorgeous. Hmm, and also 5, 44, 29, 52 (wah!), 19, 8, 57. I'm going to have to make room for some of these!

(I admire your attitude too. The last couple of eps made me regress about a decade in terms of emotional resilience and ability to restrain self from venting. Saw the first of those promo pics and back-buttoned quickly :(. Icon-making is definitely more productive).

Thank you! I'm amazed how good 21 turned out myself because that was the worst quality screencap out of the whole bunch. All blurry and awful colors. But somehow it looked good in black and white and with a little doodling. ;)

My attitude isn't that admirable. Like I said above, I was literally seething with rage after reading a new Kring interview this morning. During my entire train ride to work I kept thinking about polite ways to say how disappointed I am by their creative choices and WHAT GIANT FUCKWITS KRING AND HIS WRITERS ARE without resorting to personal attacks. It was hard. And I probably scared the other passengers because I was glowering the whole time. But I came up with a few and will definitely make them heard tomorrow - as respectful as possible.

Ugh. I know what you mean (If that's the interview in which Kring talks about 'running out of options' -- i.e. "we're have no imagination").

It is just so insulting when you look at the great lengths the writers go to have certain other characters around. But they sacrifice one of the most capable actors and one of the most central dynamics instead.
