There are so many great reviews out there, I'll keep it short and am just going to list a few things that really touched me and what didn’t work for me. (SPOILERS, of course)

Sorry for replying so late. First my internet didn't cooperate again (I really don't want that to become a habit) and then so many new Heroes pics and clips and spoilers from ComicCon appeared and totally ate my brain. I have a hard time to think back to Harry Potter, my mind is reeling from some of the new spoilers. BE, finish the season so I can drive you crazy with my inner geek and fangirlishness! ;D

As for HP:

I was surprised that Rowling sold me on the Kreacher turnabout. It really worked for me and she wrapped up the elf plot nicely with the Kreacher backstory and of course the infamous R/Hr kiss ignited by some elf love from Ron. *g*

One of my other favorite parts, and one of the most touching, was Luna's ceiling painting, that said Friends.Yes, it was touching and heartbreaking at the same time. Harry was lucky to find Hermione and Ron right in his first year but Luna was alone, an outsider much longer before she found true friends in Dumbledore's Army ( ... )
