Grossly exceeded my expectations for the day, and thus am very pleased.
However, my randy little Howl!muse and Sophie!muse have now turned my pleasant little PG-rated novel into an R-rated one. No, I'm not posting any of that until the official one.
Although beating myself over the head for writing a bodice-ripper was kinda fun. :p
Now, to bed

I found your ficbit really wonderful!! I always love your style, really!
But.... I need you to clarify my mind a little: where do I have to follow your story? I mean... will you put it in your journal day by day, will it be on the NaNoWriMo website or will it be published once you've finished it? Because I'm getting SO excited...
Anyway, perfect work till now!
Kiss!!

Yes, naughty naughty Howl and Sophie. *sees them grinning fake-innocently at her*

Well, what I actually posted up is the best of the lot. What comes before that scene is alot of rambling, including when I couldn't come up with the right word, so I either roundabout described it or made up a new word altogether. ^_^;; That's one of the things I fix in editing. There is also way too much reflection on the characters' emotions. But, since we're going for word count and I'm telling my inner editor to shush, that's fine.

So, I'll start uploading my rough drafts to my website in their entirety, then link them here in my LJ, since the only people ( ... )

I forgot that internet search engines find regular webpages, so I'll torture everybody by uploading everything here.

That's good to hear! I was on the way to become too much curious having to wait for a whole months to read more... :)
But I will warn you, I don't always work in a linear fashion. For example, the explicit scene doesn't actually happen until 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through the storyline.
That doesn't mean a problem to me, I like to read even separate scenes, as long as they are funny and juicy like yours usually are... Explicit scene?! YUMMY!!!
So: I will be posting snippets here if I have a flash of brilliance, but the whole thing in its tattered glory will be linked as I finish the pieces and upload them.
And it's only perfect because you haven't seen the mess that precedes it. ;)
Naaahhh... Writing about HMC is pretty hard, I think: ( ... )
