I think right now the person I feel sorriest for is Jack - not past-Jack-who-can't-take-no-for-an-answer, but present-Jack, stuck in the TARDIS, worried sick about Rose because he knows what he was like and that there probably was a time when he wouldn't take no for an answer. At least, I'm guessing the reason he wants her to leave and just come home is really because he's afraid of how past-him will treat her, not because if he's going to have sex with her he wants to remember it!

I'm honestly getting the feeling here that Rose doesn't want to have sex with past-Jack, that her body's willing but her brain's very, very much against the idea. And is that only because she'd prefer it to be with the Jack who's her friend, or because she finds this version far too pushy? Or doesn't she even know herself?

You're doing a great job of conveying all the mixed emotions here :) And I'm glad, really glad, that both the Doctor and present-Jack are concerned for her safety and that they've smoothed over the anger and accusations from earlier

So, two chapters left? I honestly have no idea how this is going to turn out, but I'm happily along for the ride :)

Just caught up - its been brilliant so far. I love that that there is so much going on. When I read these stories they demand my complete concentration. The characterizations are novel yet so very recognizable. I'm intrigued. I literally caught my breath a few times while reading so far. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next.

Poor confused Rose...and oh, Jack (present Jack). I've always had such affection for Jack, and this plays right into that. He's got that self-loathing for who and how he was. I'm really enjoying this, and I really like your J/R phone interaction here.
