Whoop! Gonna be at Anime Expo 2011. Those in LiveJournal land that might go, let me know! Gonna be stuck behind an artist alley table though-- H13 or something like that. We had two tables next to each other so it's possible I'm at H14 ( Read more... )

You do use it quite often! I visit now and then to catch up but I remember a time where if I didn't visit for 2 days I'd have a bazillion entries to sift through... a little nicer that I don't have to do that anymore, but I just feel that LJ's style is a little outdated. Something about the create a new entry page maybe? also hnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Yeah, it's definitely quieter these days. Kind of a shame, really.

I don't have any problems with its style or format. It works for journaling and what-have-you as far as I'm concerned. XD

It does work for journaling, but I think it needs a fresher look! I guess people are just lazy and just want to write short posts or post pictures. Tumblr and Twitter are just good for those.

I'm skipping out on AX this year (going to SDCC, poor as heeeeell ;;) but I will make Arely stop by and say hi for me :D I think she's going on Monday.

And I only pay for my RP accounts :( they get far more use than my personal journal nowadays.

Aw!! Well, Liz is going to SDCC, so maybe you can look for her? Arely can stop by our table for suuuuuuuuuure wait Monday? We close up shop on Monday. Spending July 4th in Newport Beach. I guess we won't see Arely if that's so!

Ooo, this August? Maybe we could meet up again. I'd love to go to Comiket, although I admittedly don't know much about it.

Yes this August!! Comiket is a huge event, I'm not sure if I'll be behind a table or not but if you're going let me know! I don't know my schedule yet but once I can confirm some free days or where I'll be at the time I'll let you know. I'm going from the Tokyo area all the way to Hiroshima so it really depends on the plans that fall in place.

Yeah, I saw the times, I can definitely go! I've been to Tokyo Big Site before. I'd love to hang out with you again, that was tons of fun. No one else will do karaoke with me ;_;

And yes, LJ has totes slowed down. Gooooone are the days of a billigan posts a day from everyone!
Not that I ever really did that myself.
But everyone else did.

I still like it, but I've never paid for it. I don't 'get' Tumblr and whatnot. See no point in them. I like my old-style UIs and whatnot. :|

My Tumblr is private and i use it to catalog dreams and convos, I don't get how it can be all community like, it looks weird

I paid for it cuz i liked icons and no ads but i don't really change my icon as much as i used to
