I really liked Noah, I wished I could have gotten to know her a bit better. She was very nice. I have her meishi but I'm too scared to contact her. She'll probably be like "Why is this crazy American contacting me?!" XD

Man, your posts help me read Hiragana! I've been studying because we have a test coming up and I'm like "I'm gonna diiiiieeeee"

Wow, I'm so glad you guys had fun, it looked like an adventure! I probably would have wanted to stop too (But I woulda kept going and prolly never said anything) but it's great you kept going!

If you could ever come to Japan again that'd be awesome! Maybe next time we'll hang more. <3

Noah is my favorite!!!

She is kind of shy about meeting people in general I think... sometimes I wonder if I'm bothering her... I keep feeling like I'm annoying sometimes!

I'm glad my posts have been helping you!! Do your best on your exams!

When she said that it was the highest point she had ever been to, I made the decision to finish it with her.

I'd like to come back... and everyone here seems to want me to, too.

THAT'S BECAUSE WE DO WANT YOU HERE. YOU'RE AWESOME. <3

I'm glad you were able to spend more time with her, and I don't think you annoy her at all. If you did, she wouldn't hang out with you!

I'm definitely studying, I passed my first Hiragana test which was just the basics. Now we're getting into the bigger things which will be on the Midterm next week.

I think I'll go to the temple one day as well. Glenn's been asking me where I'd like to go for vacation and I love Shrines and Temples.

The temple we visited is a way off from where you are, but if you are interested in going, it is from the Kyoto station, taking the Nara local line to get off two stops from Kyoto, which is named Inari. If you follow everyone else, you're bound to find it. Especially on the weekend. Everyone goes then.

The way to the top is a long way, though. Takes about an hour or two depending on your pace.

I still feel like I'm annoying Noah. Maybe because she's my favorite that I just worry...

"It was also funny when we reached the time, I said it was very ひどい、or cruel... they have drink machines along the way in each rest area up the stairs and as you get closer and closer to the top, the prices go higher and higher for less and less drink... !!!!!"

I can't tell if that's the worst thing ever or the best marketing ploy ever conceived. XD

I've heard mosquitoes are drawn to black clothing, though it sounds like they're being persistent no matter what you do. ^^

Black clothing are the rarest thing in my closet. I believe it is my sweet, sweet, American blood they are attracted to, but that doesn't explain why American mosquitoes like me as much as they do.

Jealous! Kyoto's where I've wanted to visit ever since I learned about Japan. And I'd love to visit the Inari Temple even if the walk would kill me. Heh.

I AM PARSEE

It's a beautiful place, a shame I could not stay longer.

It really was super tiring up at the top! But once we were up there, we felt pretty good. We saw many people who gave up when we walked past them.
