layout question

Hi Milou,

I was looking over this layout and was wondering how you put the little boxes around the comment links at the bottom of each journal entry - i'm not really sure what it's called, but here's a picture

Like this: .entryLinkbar li { padding: 3px; margin: 4px 3px; background-color:#fafafa; border-style:solid;border-color:#eeeeee;border-width:0 1px 1px 0; display: inline; }
.entryLinkbar li:hover { background-color:#f3f3f3; border-width: 1px 0 0 1px; }

All I did was give the linkbar list elements a bit of padding, a bit of border, and a background color. The hover code darkens the background a reverses the border position to give the impression of a button pushed.

thank you so much for your help. i would have never figured that out on my own ;)

i'm in the process of updating my layout based on the one used by hikkie_heaven and i was hoping to use a linkbar like yours and maybe the framing around the icon to make mine a little different from hers. would that be alright with you?

Just so you know. If it weren't for you and newkidfan, i don't think i ever would have challenged myself in adding on to my own journal and it's layout.

Also, having a community just for help is an excellent idea too!

could you tell me the name of the layout you're using for this community? i can't seem to find it @ milou_veronica.

also, feel free to tell me if this is a personal layout that you don't share, if that's the case :) just wondering! i love it.
