At times larger than others... Chiyo-chan's dad from Azumanga Daioh comes to mind.

Ffffft there are the giant monkey things from DBZ but I'm not sure they would make good rugs.

Lots of large beasties in Harry Potter but also not sure about application for rugs. (Giant squid! Giant squid!)

Oh! But there are large beasties in Naruto that would work well. Nine tailed fox is a pretty good bet.

Hmmm I'm sure there are more but it is surprisingly hard to think of them.

I was thinking of a few of the ones from Naruto too. Sadly I don't know much about the later part of the series. -_-;

that big guy from Neverending Story, the Wild Things, those monsters from the new Star Trek movie, the abominable snowman from the stop-motion Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer, there was a giant blue animal rug in The Fifth Element.

Also: if you can make the polar bear robe from the bad romance video, i will pay you handsomely for it.

Oh man yeah.

That would be an incredibly expensive coat to make, if I get the money, I will try and recreate one though.
