This is us pilot and preview

I really like the pilot, took around 10 minutes and I had tears in my eyes ^^ I really hope this show is a succsess! Anybody else already watched it??
(the end is still  killing me, just watched it a second time, and I really can not wait to watch the next episode!)

OMG I was sooo surprised when I understood that they were not in the same time period, and that Randall was adopted by Jack and Rebecca. The word of the doctor fits so well, when he said something like "You won't bring back the 3 babies you planned, but you will have 3 babies" with the one that died in mind.

it is amazing isn´t it?? the idea was so good to show it not until the end - I just thought oh my god, and the doc was so right with his little speech, which killed me almost by the way ...

it was really a good pilot, the idea of showing a family life is not that new, but i really think the last minutes make the difference..

I really hope the show works, and not just because of milo.

little question, i am not sure if I understood it right, but at the time when the kids are adults, the parents - aka jack and becca - are already dead arent they?!

Maybe they are, because Randall's real dad said "Your dad must have been very proud of you." and near the end Kate says: "Remember what dad used to say..."

But even if they are still alive, I think we are only going to see them young, so that they do not have to get tons of make-up to make them look 36 years older, or to see two different actors. But we'll see.

hm i think u are right, but if we will see the older partents, I think they would take different actors, it is easier for everybody :D - the big question, which actors could play a older jack and becca ...

also I really like kate, she is such a nice person, and most of us know her problems in some way.
