Actually, that alert is a hoax, according to snopes.com

HOWEVER, powerpoint presentations CAN have viruses embedded in them, though. :/

I never download files via email, unless I know exactly what it is, and am expecting to receive it.

My family/friends who insist on sending me stupid forwards with attachments always get angry when I don't open the attachments, but what can I say? It's better than wrecking my computer....

Welp, just to be safe, I've removed mildred_strange from all of my custom filters and put this lj account ON them instead. Let me know if you regain mildred_strange and I'll set things right. I'm so sorry this happened!

I don't know if it has much to do with the network, though. I'm on a network at school and nothing like this has ever really happened to me *crosses fingers* But I suppose it could just be that your network isn't very secure?

Hey, I've been trying to contact you about your mail, and I am starting to see why it might be that I have been having a hard time. I sent you a couple e-mails but I see via Dan's page that that is not of much use. Mind you it took me a while to track down Dan and then you through his page considering how fucked up your old page appears. Anyway, crazy. What the hell happened? Cyber bully? Made any enemies?

Back to the important stuff. I have your mail, including a large envelope from YorkU. Second, how do I contact you now? YorkU address or something else? I'm on campus next week Wednesday I think and then more often the week after that. I can bring your mail then.

Yup. I'm filing this under "lessong learned" and cross referencing it with "water under the bridge". If I think about it too much I get all sad over the 6 years worth journal that I lost, but there were a lot of bad memories in there, so new start can't be bad.
