Well, when a person get Dalekfied, they start losing their memories and emotions. So maybe she forgot her time with The Doctor if this is a future version of Clara Oswin?

She kept memories of everything else though, even her mother's birthday and such. I think the thing about forgetting may have been just when the nanobots starts "emptying out" your body to transform you. And the memories are still stored in the collective mind though, so she would have had access to them.

I couldn't figure out why Oswin didn't know who The Doctor was when he first showed up, especially since her wiping The Doctor from the Daleks' collective memory (or whatever it's called) was a plot point. I would've thought, since she was Dalekified, she would've had access to all of their memories.

Maybe she was surprising the memories?

Loose ends and stuff that doesn't make sense when you look at it closely in a Moffat episode? Impossible!

lol, I just saw I wrote "surprising the memories" instead of suppressing.

I really, *really* dislike Moffat sometimes. He has this big mystery where the entire season is a set up to it and this big problem with the universe, and then in the very last five minutes of the season, he has some kind of quick fix. Something clever cancels the big bad thing out. It sounds like lazy writing to me. I will never trust that man ( ... )
