I think this is one of my new favourites from you, Milly. (Well, this and Acid Intro. Don't make me choose!) I absolutely love the colour progression of it, from the cold hues and gradually into the yellows and oranges, and it's very clear and obvious to track Claire's progression from victim to... it's not so much "empowerment", but I think it's preferable to "victim" in any case. Sylar is always just out of sight and I love his implication in this, the lack of obviousness for his presence. It makes me very thinky. The eye shot at 2:53 goes a long way in really driving your argument home

That was really the driving idea for the first part - that he's never *really* there, while *always* being there. Very stalkery.
On a separate note re colour, I just love the blending and gradients and lighting in this. It's so subtle and beautiful.Thank you! I usually approach color correction in a more straighforward way, but there was a lot of work with the spotlight tool here and other layering effects. So I'm glad you liked it

How very fitting, then, because FUCK ME is the very first reaction I had when this fabulous piece of feedback hit my inbox!
Thank you so much! It really means a lot, because I'm at least lucky to have a few people who get my Claire love, but it's a small circle and not the majority, so this makes me soooo happy.
Isn't that clip of his hand on her bedspread the freakiest shot in the entire show? I mean, wow. The gun shots were one of the first images that popped into my mind when I was listening to the song and envisionning the vid, so again, YAY!
I love this feedback so much, I want to flail with you, lol!
Sylar has ALWAYS been there, just off to the side, not always felt but always there
A world of yes. I am in LOVE with how much you got everything I was going for!
That was intense, and disturbing, and awesome. It conveyed the constant, eternal horror-movie victim they created her character to be, and how *disturbing* that is, in a way that the show never quite managed to do for me. Wow.
She really has been crafted as the victim, hasn't she? And when she starts rebelling, it takes her into a dark place, in a terrible and, indeed, disturbing way.
It really took me another viewing to appreciate your choice of color changes to highlight Claire's progression in this vid. Your music use was so inspired as well. :D
