Well, Melpomene is, at least at the moment, a fighter: she's out by the lake, brushing up on her sword technique. It's been a while, but she remembers (nearly) everything.

Picking one of the tables near the observation room, he dedicates himself to tinkering with something that resembles a large pocket watch.

Must be a hobby, or a general distraction, since he is using actual mundane tools.

Last night, he had been sick of women. Today, he's more open-minded on the subject which is why he's in the bar at all. He's at a table where he can see most of the room and appears to be surveying it regularly.
