Bubbles smiles warmly as she enters the bar from the lake, snow caked on her blue sneakers. Hugging herself some for warmth, her grin doesn't waver as she sits down in a booth, drinking on a mug of hot cocoa with marshmallows that had appeared for her.

Boomer walks over and sits down across from her, a small smile on his face. He's still feeling a bit awkward after what happened last time, but he knows that sooner or later, he'd have to talk to her. Now seems as good a time as any.

"Hey Bubbles. Whatcha up to?"

Bubbles looks up from her cocoa to Boomer, blinking with slight surprise. She hadn't expected to see him. "Right now, warming up. What are you doing, Boomer?" It is an honest question.

Boomer smirks and cocks an eyebrow at her.

"Talking to you, obviously. And breathing. It's a habit of mine."

She quirks an eyebrow in thought, a small, unusual smile on her lips. "Obviously." Bubbles takes a small sip at the cocoa. It's still a little too hot to drink just yet. "How are you doing?"

Nick does, sliding the red silk bag with the gold tassles across the counter towards her with a smile.

"Happy St. Nicholas' Day."

Bubbles' smile widens warmly, "Happy Saint Nick's Day to you too."

"Thank you. Enjoy the treats. They're freshly baked, I promise."

Bubbles' smile widens even more at the smell of the cookies, her eyes shining. "Thank you! Chocolate chip is my favorite."
