For a moment when the door opens, there's a blonde woman in a brass breast plate and leather skirt over leggings standing in the doorway.

As she steps in, her uniform gives way to... well, Angua doesn't want to know what this outfit is supposed to be.

"What the bloody hells?"

Someone want to explain to her what Halloween actually is?

There is a small purple fox, and it giggles, yapping.

"Which is why I don't wear one," the fox said.

[somebodysdog]

"Very wise," Angua agrees.

[asar_suti]

"Foxes don't really become domesticated, just tame if you're really careful and nice to them," the purple fox said, remembering the real fox in whose company he had changed, and then found himself unable to shift out of.

Angua eyes the fox.

"Yes, I am aware of foxes, and their lack of domestication" she points out carefully.

"I'm not just an ordinar fox, though," the fox said, carefully.

[somebodysdog]

"I know," she replies.

"You're purple, for one."

[asar_suti]

"Well, there might be worlds out there where the foxes are purple, mightn't there," the fox said.

[somebodysdog]

"There's some very strange worlds out there," Angua admits. "But why would a fox be purple?"

"Why would buffalo be purple?" the fox replied. "Creatures are all sorts of colour out there."

[somebodysdog]

She eyes him over her drink.

"Buffalo are purple?"

"On my friend Atreyu's home world, they are," the fox said, triumphantly.

"Why?"

[asar_suti]

"They just are - it's that kind of world," the fox said.

[somebodysdog]

"Really?" Angua replies, drily.

[asar_suti]

The fox gave her a long look. "You don't believe me," he said. "Pity he's not hear now to show you his cloak made of purple buffalo hair."
