The Ordinary Princess is in the bar, watching Mr. Pemberthy and Simon Perryvall chase each other up and down and over and across her table. She occasionally moves her tea out of their paths, but doesn't try to stop them. It would, after all, be kind of hopeless.

Come say hello?

Cinnamon colored eyes watch the rodents. Tails twitch. Other than that, the Fox does not move. Twitch. Twitch.

The Ordinary Princess watches the Fox watch the rodents, ready to snatch them out of harm's way if necessary.

"Pet me?"

She suggests and/or asks. Hard to tell with a Fox.

"I can't help but watch them, but I won't eat them."

[kitchen_maid]

"Then it's a deal," she says, reaching out to pet the Fox. The squirrels, a little alarmed by this, decide it's time to explore the ceiling again.

"I'm Amy," she says to the Fox, because it seems polite to introduce herself.

Echo sees the Ordinary Princess and waves at her, smiling. "Amy! Hi!"

[kitchen_maid]

"Echo! Hello. How are you this evening?"

[alas_alas]

Echo beams and holds up her almost empty glass. "I get free drinks!"

[kitchen_maid]

"Do you? How lovely! Is it because your husband cooks here?"

Peter lands in the chair across from her, grinning fit to burst.

"Amy! Good to see you. How are you, today?"

[kitchen_maid]

She gives him a long look. "A little annoyed with you, my lord. You have not been completely honest with me."

But there's a teasing light in her eyes, and she's not quite managing to keep from smiling.

Peter smile is gone immediately.

"I... what? Who... what?"

[kitchen_maid]

"You quite neglected to tell me that you were a legend," she says. And she loses the battle with the smile and begins to laugh.
