"My darling Lady Bar, is there any way I could persuade you to abandon your crusade for fabric?"

Nothing is laughing at Puck. No. No way.

He shrugs. "Well, I suppose things can always get worse." A glance to the Bar. "Feel no need to act on that, sweet."

Desire might be laughing.
Of course, that would require eavesdropping, and Desire is quite nicely settled in the usual booth.

Puck raises an eyebrow very, very slowly.

Desire may find that the fairy is now leaning casually against hisherits booth, arms folded over his chest.

"Well met."

Desire is unconcerned, and offers Puck a knife-bright grin.
"Well met indeed, Puck. Care to join me for a drink?"

Puck grins back, not to be outdone in the area of sharp, shiny teeth. Except by Oberon.

"Always," he says, taking the seat opposite him. "How do you fare?"

*Drusilla comes up behind Puck and taps him on the shoulder.*

Puck turns and grins at her.

"Hello, precious. How do you fare?"

I'm well, thank you.

*She says with a smile. A smile that is alot less distant than it was when they last spoke.*

And yourself?

He blinks. He'd been expecting something oddly prophetic about the heavens bleeding, or perhaps the place where all the stars are crushed into black oblivion.

Oh, well.

"Tonight? I'm well." Which is sorta-pretty-much-mostly a lie, but he really doesn't feel like going into it all over again. "Better for seeing you."

A strange little dog glares at Puck from under a stool nearby. No he is deffinitely NOT laughing.

The fairy chuckles.

"Good even, sweetheart. Looking for a bone?"

'Get too close and I might just take you up on that offer.' He growls

"It won't last forever, you know. Only, say ... the next twenty years? Hardly any time at all."

Yes, that's a joke. Ha ha, Puck is funny.

Ophelia nibbles on his ear.

What? It tastes good.

Puck chuckles.

"Sweet, I'm afraid that wasn't intended to be edible."

She pouts.

"I think I need them," he says with a grin, turning to kiss her. "Else I'd gladly render both to you, milady."

Something is certainly laughing at Puck.

Well. Maybe snickering into her tea.

"Hey, you look good, though."

He raises an eyebrow.

"Oh, I know," he says. "But these don't breathe at all well."

Puck looks Nita over, frowning a little to remember her from the other night. Had Oberon done something to her?

"Does the evening find you well?"

Puck grins, because after all, he has been getting a lot of sex.

"Marvelous," he replies.
