He might be dozing. Might not.

"You been gettin' soft while I'm killin' vampires?"

"Hile." Roland nods to the other chair. "Sit a while. Need to palaver."

Joe raises his eyebrows and takes a seat. "What's going on?"

Roland stretches for a moment, which has the dual effect of easing aching muscles and letting him look around to see if anybody's near enough to listen in.

Satisfied, he settles back and says in a low voice, "Anthy closed the door."
