Val walks up to the bar, looking like she slept perhaps an hour all night. "Bar, can I have a book on the Hutts?" A book appears, in an oddly angular alphabet. Val curses under her breath. She toddles around, making little 'meows' to herself and peeking at everyone and everything she can. This includes the book that is absorbing Val.

Angel wanders downstairs and sees Val at the table. After getting some paradoxes from the bar, he heads over. "Having fun with that?"

She chuckles. "Hey, Angel. Have a seat. Yeah, I am, actually. My brother challenged me to learn this in about three days, or at least enough to have a conversation in it. I am bound and determined to win."

He sits down and smiles. "Anything for a distraction, I take it?" And then he notices the book she's got, and blinks at it. "What is it, anyway?"

She smirks. "Something like that." She turns the books to him. "The alphabet is called Aurebesh, the language Basic. It's what's written and spoken in the Star Wars universe." Her eyes twinkle. "I realized earlier that I would basically be the equivalent of illiterate when I left the bar wth Luke, so I decided that I should try to learn."
