Lestat sees Khayman, in the bar! and calls, "Does this mean I can use my basement for storage space now? Louis and his damn books..."

"I was going back; the clock is yet ticking," Khayman says by way of an explanation.

"You've been talking about this event, so I wanted to be there." He grins at Marius, with an indication that a back-clapping contest might actually not be a good idea with mortals about.
