Miraculously - if you go in for that sort of thing - Eris is downstairs. Because her mun is still awake.

Just at the moment, she's sitting on the couch, fiddling with a mug of tea. But she's scooted it around so she can watch the door.

Hard to tell if she's expecting to see someone come in, or thinking of going out.

Could be both.

He comes downstairs and goes over to her, almost without pausing to look for her.

She smiles a little at him, and gives about a quarter of a nod to the spot on the couch next to her.

He sits down next to her, and if he looks tired and drawn and frustrated, that doesn't necessarily mean he's been trying to See Solinde for the past day with minimal success.

Doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't, though.

Almost unconsciously, she shifts until she's leaning into him a little, and offers him the mug of tea.

She's still looking at the door.
