He doesn't appear to be passed out. In fact, he's tossing a deck of 51 into a floppy black pimp hat.

There is also a glass of water containing a goldfish sitting on the table.

Wes has been trying to figure out the goldfish from a distance for some minutes. He eventually strolls over.

"I have to ask about the fish," he admits.

"Gills, fins and a tail," Hyde says without looking up. The 6 of Spades flutters clean off the table as he misses.

Wes peers into the glass.

"You're right."

Fish in New Jersey aren't so healthy looking.

"Pet?"

"I don't know where it came from, man. I asked for a glass of water and it threw in a fish."

Hyde finally looks up. "Could you get me that card? A deck of fifty would really suck."

Kim looks over and sees the guy she was talking to a few days ago and kind of hopes that she didn't scare him, she's not sure about the rules of talking about the future and she's pretty sure that what she shared wasn't the future for his Earth...especially judging from the magazine she's holding.

Anyway, she smiles at him.

Hyde's never one to miss the attentions of a foxy chick. He looks up from his deck of fifty-one and smiles back, thus missing a card...it sails straight over the pimp hat and under the table.

She stands and picks up the card for him, putting it on the table. "Nice vest."

Hyde, uh, admires the view. When she picks it up. Yes.

He grins. "Thanks. Nice legs."

Nita blinks as she walks by, then takes a few steps back. "Is that a goldfish?"

Hyde flips a card into the pimp hat. It lands on the brim.

"Sure the hell is."

He looks up at her, because - female voice. Huh. Kinda close to his age.

"What an icebreaker," Nita replies with a laugh. She watches him flip cards into the hat. "Hey, that's pretty good."

"A lifetime of boredom makes you good at card games - even the stupid kind."

Hyde smirks and tosses another card. This one goes in.
