The mountie settles around the fire, holding a glass of water. Diefenbaker the wolf sits next to him, staring at the flames as well. It brings to mind memories for them both...and they just sit to enjoy them in a place much warmer than the air from any night they can remember like this.
"Good day. Or evening, rather." A nod and smile to Fraser, and she laughs quietly, apparently unafraid of the wolf, using both hands to pet and scritch the beast.
*Tim takes a seat beside the other guy, being friendly. He's got a pipe in hand, puffing from time to time. The smoke smells different each time he puffs, one time peaches, the next apples, and so on.*
"Hey." Ben looks at him briefly, then stares off back at the water. He realised his cigarettes where totally pwned by Tim's pipe and put out the stub of his curent one.
As it gets colder Charlie puts his sweatshirt back on and moves close to the bonfire. He continues playing, quietly, watching people and smiling to himself.
It's chilly-ish when David and Gil walk out from the kitchen, carrying armfuls of food each. They're distributed among the tables and plates and David smiles at everyone around the bonfires, taking a seat beside one of the food carts.

"As agreed," he says. "Your special reward - I put a belt of Scotch in it."

"It's nice to see so many people enjoying themselves," he says. "Think I'd best go round with the hot dogs. Would you like one?"
