*It is then that he sees Rat, scampering across the floor*

Rat! Rat! Have you seen Gil?

*Rat squeaks at Rodya, which would be much more effective if Rodya actually spoke rat*

*begins to dart forward but sees all the other people in the corridor and stops - goes very pink*

Fool - this is my friend Rodya - who has SO kidly let us out and - all these other kind people too.

*Rodya blushes at Gil's words and moves forward to hug him awkwardly*

*he pulls away and looks toward the fool*
