Things are changing in the Bar, and Doc doesn't like it one bit. Last night, he was given a card by Tower, and it was somewhat positive - which was odd, but welcome

Last night, William slept for a long time and woke up feeling like maybe he should go home for a time.

The longer he stays here, the more he realizes he can't do as much as he likes and the image of that tired soldier hasn't left his thoughts.

He arrives at the counter just as Doc's horse trough of coffee appears and he blinks, "Is that all coffee?"

"Yeah, they're pickin' up on what everyone else is feelin'. I'll do whatever I can to help as I figure out what's best for me to do."

"You've got your family t'concern about."

He sips more of his coffee.

"You got any plans for anythin' this afternoon or would you mind helpin' me walk the fences?"

"No, ain't made any and glad to have somethin' to be doin'. I wonder if there's a good way of savin' this coffee, wouldn't want it to go to waste,"

Though he doesn't know what as he's never seen quite that much before.

Doc looks at the trough.

"I wonder..."

He debates momentarily.

"Bar, could you make sure this stays warm?"

An explosion of multi-colored knitwear appears on the trough. Mittens, hats, and scarves.

William almost drops his mug when the knitwear appears, "That ain't goin' to work."

"It certainly is festive, though."

Confetti starts to rain down from the ceiling.

He opens his mouth and closes it as he tries to think of something that won't create objects,

"Yeah, it is that."

Doc gathers up the Thermos and then nods his head to the back door.

"Let's just git and leave it. It'll be safer."

William drinks the rest of his coffee and carefully sets the mug down before nodding.
