[Shortly after this, but before this]

Marian wrote up a report of the little she has heard from William and Teja, and left it in the Security Office. She followed this up, with writing another, more formal missive. Which she then walked out and posted on the Notes Board in the Bar Proper.

Ako writes up two copies, one with Bar-san, and one to go in the security office. Redundancy seems like a good idea right now.

To security:
The T-Minus chat system was down for more than a day lately. I don't know if this is related, but I thought it might be.

Guppy looks at the sign and writes a note.

An earthquake of some sort occurred, causing the viral replication machine to fall off. One of the infirmary waitrats was trapped by it, and when rescued, had been replicated! Nobody was seriously injured but we've lost some equipment.

Guppy just told me what that glowing crystal is; he says it is called a Sims Crystal. The colour relates to the state of the being under it. Green is good, orange is declining, red is cause for alarm. He knows not where it came from, as he knows it from a Computer Game; but he guesses it would indicate the will or presence of the Landlord.

I just found a plague of mice and snakes erupting from the treefort in the forest. They started pouring out of where I kept my emergency MREs stashed, and there's more snakes and mice than should fit into that container. I haven't been back to check out the site yet.

There's a repurposed piece of paper pinned to the notice board, carrying messages from both William Evans and Sariel Rager.
