Somewhere nearby, there is a sudden explosion as someone crashes down from the sky into the rocks.

Ben surges to his feet, reaches into the fire for a burning log and spins so his back is to the fire. Cocking the log like a bat he waits for whatever is going to happen. WIll it be an attack or is someone hurt? You never can tell in Milliways.

As the dust settles, a small boy climbs out of the hole in the rocks.
