"I think so," says Ellen hoarsely, although people outside the suit probably won't hear that. The R. Lee Ermey voice the suit's onboard AI uses is busy barking out "Present and accounted for, ma'am!", and it's kinda loud.

Ellen will remember to look for the volume control once she's got the Tesla cannon safely moored and her arms stop shaking.

The volume Ellen's suit emits spikes fight-or-flight in Raylan's central nervous system.

"Should be," he says, voice exhausted and even lower than usual, by comparison. "Everybody bring back their buddy?"

He glances around, and even as he's lowering his shotgun, he's halfway expecting to see more teeth and bared claws on the Milliways grounds.

"Isn't there a medical facility here? He needs medical care immediately, Val. Raylan, thank you so much for covering me when we got to Johnny."

She shifts Johnny slightly in her arms and winces, hoping he doesn't have internal injuries, and smiles weakly at Raylan.

"If I never fight enother bug again it'll be too soon."
