The door opens to admit a mostly humanoid figure, 8-feet tall and almost 3-feet wide at the shoulders. How he fits through a normal-sized door is yet another mystery of Milliways.

More calm than the first time he entered, though still not completely at ease about this weird place, he heads for the bar to grab himself a bottle of something slightly ( Read more... )

It's a thing. A very strange thing, but a thing. It's a thing Ellen's actually seen fairly often, given how big one of her own friends is... but Fawkes is no krogan, so while the door doesn't get stared at, Wrex himself does. For a moment or two, anyway, before Ellen realizes she's being rude and hastily ducks her head.

She'll apologize if she gets called on it, but it's probably not a good idea to interrupt somebody who looks like Wrex, right?

There's a sound, possibly a chuckle from Wrex when he notices the staring. Even in his own Universe, people tend to give Krogan looks that are a little too long and a little too uncomfortable. He nods his massive wedge-shaped head to the young human, mildly curious about her reaction.

Ellen flushes a little at that, a number of older scars going a little darker in the process. "I'm sorry," she says, "I didn't mean to be rude, but- I've never seen anybody who looked like you before."

She has, some have noted, a talent for understatement.

"We're a little isolated back home."

Well, scars are something they have in common at the very least. The ones across Wrex's face and headplate look old too, but they don't really need a blush to stand out.

"That would be Earth, or some colony?" His head swivels, bringing one blood-red eye to bear directly on Ellen.
