[OOC: I'm two days behind on my tags and going to the local SF convention this weekend. Clearly I need to start another thread!]

Ako isn't running the obstacle course, any of the obstacle courses. Not really. Instead she's practicing balancing with a learn-to-speak-French recording playing over her headphones as she give Sarah-san a wave.

It isn't until Sarah is swinging on the trapeze and looking at the net below that she notices Ako. There isn't much one person can do on a trapeze except see how far one can jump off and then how fast one can scramble to one of the net's edges.

It's fun. In a WEEE I am flying! sort of way.

Sarah half rolls her way to the edge of the net closest to Ako and shouts "Hi Ako!"

Huh...

"Are those earmuffs?"

She isn't familiar with the concept of wearing earmuffs to keep your ears warm. They can do that, but that is just an annoying side effect of wearing them to mute the howls of banshees.

The surprised, guileless look he gives her in return says, very clearly, No need to be so catty.

Because he's ordering a plate bigger than his torso, crowded with sushi and sashimi.

When his food arrives, she can't help being jealous of the plate full if thinly sliced raw fish.

Her next look says, How dare you know the menu better than I do?
