Alcide lucked out this year, possibly because he's new. He came into the bar near Halloween and nothing changed.

(And since he did his running last night at home, he's not feeling too antsy to get outdoors.)

He eyes the specials board a bit warily. He already got the feeling this place was kind of like a fanger bar, and that's not helping much. Still, he'd rather talk to an actual bartender than an inanimate object, and this kid doesn't really fit the image of a bartender in those sorts of places.

"Hey, uh...can I just get a beer?"

"Of course," says Ianto, "what kind would you like?" and sweeps back his hand to indicate the many (many, many) selections from several parts of the universe.

The kind of bars that Alcide usually frequents have two kinds of beer, and they never ask which one you'd prefer.

"Uh...whatever's good, I guess. Somethin' on the dark side."
