Coming and going is all well and good, but tonight Castiel opts for a more direct movement from Point A to Point B.

Meg will find that the couch cushion next to her is suddenly occupied.

"I had hoped I would find you here."

"Hello, Castiel," Meg says.

Still making an entrance, she sees.

"How are you?"

If he were human, Castiel might well sink and slump into the couch cushions as if attempting to convince the piece of furniture to absorb him.

But he is an angel. And therefore is sitting bolt upright.

"I am..." Castiel frowns.

Honestly he feels a little like someone sailing a rough sea, in a boat small enough to fit into a bottle.

"I have spoken with Dean."

Again.

"I see," Meg says.

"And, um, what happened?"

X slips closer to Meg, shifting position to better see the cover of Meg's book.

And after a moment or two --

"It is for school?"

Beat.

"Your book."

TV and movies suggest this may be the case.

X is not sure.

X absorbs that.

And a few seconds later --

"Hello, Meg."

Beat.

"You are good at solving them? Murder mysteries."

"Sometimes.

"Some are easier to solve than others.

"Some are just better written than others.

"Do you ever read any?"
