There are days that it really ain't worth getting out of bed. Dean's kinda hoping tomorrow isn't gonna be one of those days, because today was pretty shitty.

Jane has finished dressing for the visit to Mrs. Radcliffe and is surprised to see Milliways in her London closet but walks through and then smiles at Dean,

"Are you voyaging through the Alps, Mister Winchester?"

[jane_becomes]

"They are at that but I am endeavoring to act in a way that will please him. I do believe it is possible,"

As she doesn't want to imagine a life without Tom in it.

"Well, here's hoping."

Dean and engagements are not real close friends.

[jane_becomes]

"Thank you and I hope that soon you will be able to regain your normal attire."

[hopeitsworthit]

"From your mouth to Bar's ear."

Or, you know, maybe he'll split the difference and head home.

But not yet.

Dean's kinda stubborn.

"We'll see how it goes."

[jane_becomes]

As is Jane, which is one reason she enjoys him. He's rather more open with his stubbornness,

"Other than the choice of dress is your current work going as you wish it?"

"'bout as much as I'd expect," Dean allows.

"You win some, you lose some. Sometimes you get shoved into shorts, it's all good."

He grimaces.

"Okay, maybe not 'good', this time."

[jane_becomes]

"Do you know how to improve it?"

He is quite resourceful and Jane trusts that Dean can find a way.

"I've got some ideas."

Like changing his clothes.

"Pretty sure this kinda thing ain't gonna happen again."

Until Halloween, anyway.

[jane_becomes]

"That is good. Once you defeat this enemy, they will not return?"

Jane knows he is a fighter of some rather horrible things as she has not forgotten when his possessed brother attacked her.

[hopeitsworthit]

"Nah, sweetheart. It's all taken care of."

Noncommittal is his stock-in-trade, formerly-possessed brother or no.

"I'm quite pleased to hear that as I know your work can be dangerous,"

This is something Jane knows and understands as in her time, many matters are spoken of obliquely.

He snorts.

"Yeah. That's one word for it."

Anyway.

"You had dinner yet tonight?"

[jane_becomes]

"No, I have not as its morning in London. Have you?"

[hopeitsworthit]

Dean lets out an exaggerated sigh.

"Yeah, sad to say I have. Oktoberfest beer's pretty good, though. I'll give you that."

[jane_becomes]

"That is important."
