Autumn, in Orpheus' opinion, is better than winter, though only slightly. The days are not as short as they will be, but sunlight is still more difficult to come by than he likes.

Dixie - music lover that she is - is paying attention to the melody.

If Orpheus listens, he'll be able to hear her accompaniment - soft and low.

He can always hear something like that, and it makes him frown and pause in his playing, looking up to see where it comes from.

If he looks over his shoulder he'll see a blonde, all dressed up in an attractive traveling costume of purples and blacks, leaning on the bar and singing along softly.

Orpheus very definitely stops when he finds who it is.

He's not really a duet sort of person. Not unless his partner is significantly more divine.
