"Where are you even getting all of those from?"

"Shoot. With all the things I'm starting to carry here something like that would have been really handy."

'All the things' includes two energy weapons, a two pronged silver dagger meant to mess with shapeshifters violently and a small but growing collection of other pocket junk.

"WELL, I DON'T KNOW, I NEVER TRIED TO ASK THE BAR FOR ONE. BUT YEAH ONCE YOU FIGURE OUT HOW TO OUTSMART THEM THEY ARE USEFUL AS FUCK, BUT FRANKLY YOU SHOULD LOOK FORWARD TO A COUPLE DAYS OF JUST THE STUPIDEST THINGS HAPPENING, ESPECIALLY IF YOU GET A CHEAP ONE."

"THE STRIFE SPECIBUS IS WORTH THE WHOLE COST, THOUGH, BEING ABLE TO GET YOUR WEAPON OUT AT A THOUGHT IS SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW HOW ANYONE SURVIVES WITHOUT."

"Lots and lots of running," says Ako with something that technically might be a smile.

Not happy or large, but a smile.

"And dodging and I usually end up keeping any weapons I think I'll need on my belt and banging them into things the whole time too."

"WHAT KIND OF WEAPONS DO YOU USUALLY USE? I MEAN WHAT WOULD YOUR ALLOCATION BE?"

"Um, it seems to be energy weapons mostly," admits Ako, "I bought an alien ray-gun off of another patron and things have sort of snowballed from there."

Not that three weapons is a big snowball, but baby steps.

"THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS, IT GOES BY SHAPE WHATEVER THE MATERIAL OR SUBSTANCE OF THE ATTACK IS. PISTOLKIND OR RIFLEKIND?"

"...Is there one for, um, concealed weapons?"

Because most of the gear is disguised or impractical looking.

"IT DEPENDS ON WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE, MY FRIEND HAS--HAD--MAKEUPKIND AND SHE HAD A LIPSTICK THAT TURNED INTO A CHAINSAW. LIKE THAT?"

"Not quite," says Ako, "It's probably pistols then. They tend towards shorter barrels."

"HERE'S AN IDEA, WHY DON'T YOU JUST SHOW ME THE FUCKING THINGS."

Ako fumbles a bit and produces what might be a heavy duty flashlight, an alien raygun that looks mostly like a bad prop and the silver dagger that looks basically like a silver carving fork woke up angry.

"Stunner, but I need to get it fixed; alien disintegrator; and an anti-werewolf dagger that I got just before the were-weiner attack recently."

Karkat takes out what looks like a green plasticky wallet from one of his pockets; it appears to contain several green and white cards, and one black and grey one, which removes and examines. "YEAH, I DON'T KNOW, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO CRAM THEM BOTH INTO STUNGUNKIND, BUT DISINTEGRATOR IS A LITTLE... DISINTEGRATEY FOR THAT. AT ANY RATE I HAVE A FEW EXTRAS BUT NOTHING YOU COULD JAM THOSE INTO."

They are all pretty lame, based on random stuff imps picked up and used against him. "I'M REALLY NOT SURE THE BAR COULD MAKE ONE ANYWAY, I KNOW WE COULDN'T ALCHEMIZE THEM AND THE ALCHEMITER COULD MAKE DAMN NEAR ANYTHING."

"I really wanted something that would make problems go away about then," comments Ako, "Bar-san doesn't like to hand out much of anything that has to do with weapons anyway. She might not even if she could."
