He did have a very interesting life, after all. But even as a reporter, he was never good with writing (his time behind the anchor desk included scripts from other people

Yes. It's been too long. Where are you that you're sending me notes.

He's never seen a written emoticon before. The wonders of the future must include that, he thinks.

Leaving his notebook, he does the most Charlie-like thing he could do: he heads into the rafters. It's a certainty she won't be up here. But he can look down and eliminate her presence in the bar itself first.

And just for fun, he puts on his mask. Been too long since he wore it. Though what does it say that he still carries it with him?
